    Hello,

It would be great if there was an option to NOT tweet a blog post. I know that the plugin can be setup to not post for certain categories but I'm referring to a situation where I normally want to tweet all blog posts in a particular category but on this special occasion I don't want it to tweet a new post.

Any easy way to do that now?

If not, a simple checkbox such as "Tweet this post" that usually defaults to Yes would be great.

Thanks for writing some great plugins. :)

    Kevin

Yah, we talked about adding that very feature in the next version. We'll probably end up adding a checkbox to the Write Post box we already have that enables tweeting.

For now you can add custom data to the post called "has_been_twittered" and set it to yes, which basically will trick WordTwit out into thinking it's already Twittered the post.

Very glad to hear that you folks plan to add this to a future release. Thank you.

I'm not exactly sure how I would "add custom data to the post called "has_been_twittered" and set it to yes".

Exactly how would I do that?

    Thanks again,

    Kevin

When you're editing a WordPress post, there's a panel called "Custom Fields" about half way down the page. If you go and edit a post that's already been Tweeted, you can see that there's a custom field on that post called "has_been_twittered".

To stop WordPress from Tweeting a new post, simply save the post as a draft, scroll down to the Custom Field area, and add a custom field called "has_been_twittered" and set it to true. When you hit publish, that should stop the post from going out on Twitter.

Thanks so much for explaining that. I've not used custom fields before.

I really appreciate the prompt replies and the great plugins! :)
