I installed WordTwit 2.4.4, making sure to first deactivate then delete the old plugin by FTP.
When I go to the plugin settings page, clicking the 'sign in with twitter' button does nothing. I then used Firebug to check the code, and here it is:

There's no link on the A tag. Is that right?
That means for some reason it's failing to get a request token from Twitter's servers. Can you send me some details about your server such as the PHP version it's running?
I've heard a report from one other person who is having this problem, but according to Twitter over 1,700 people have registered using WordTwit 2.4.4, so it's an isolated problem for some reason.
Same issue here. WP 2.9.2 and WordTwit 2.4.4 -- It was working fine for months, then started to not post -- checked my authorizations via Twitter directly and WordTwit was missing. I reauthorized OK and posted a couple of articles, which tweeted fine. Today, WordTwit is deauthorized again (although it says in my WP control panel that it's authorized), and trying to reauthorize it in my WP control panel gives me the a href="" bug.

Worked for months then stopped some time ago.
Tried different versions with no luck.
No funny chars in username or password.
Can get to Twitter connections page but it doesn't show up.
Widget shows random posts.

I checked the site it works on and it goes to twitter and I have to allow wordtwit. On the non working site it reloads the page and does not ask twitter to authorize.
I changed my theme to Catropolis and the wordtwit app quit working. when I click on the app I get this in the browser bar http://........wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wordtwit.php.
My mystique theme that works has a token lingo with a bunch of letters etc so why does it not work with the new theme and how do I fix it??
has anyone been able to fix this problem? I've just install WordTwit but I cant login to my twitter account.
WordTwit won't let me link a WordPress blog to Twitter. I've deactivated, deleted, then reuploaded and activated WT 2.4.4. But when I click on Sign In With Twitter link on the Settings/WordTwit page, it simply refreshes the settings page. I've logged into Twitter on a separate browser window, then click the Settings link with the same results.
What could going wrong?
