Both Adsense and Admob don’t currently work on iPad. We will add custom ads support in a future update. It was a massive effort to get things where they are.

How is support for podcasting with podpress? Would be awesome to have it work like the NPR app! (Large play bar, playlists, etc.)

Congratulations on the update! Is there a list somewhere for developers to help users configure the CSS and thumbnails(featured images)?

        Thanks!

Finally updated to WPtouch 2.1 from the 2.1RC builds and it looks great on my iPhone 3GS and the iPad. However, Webapp mode slightly buggy when loading a post unless you load a different page (may be with a plugin conflict)… otherwise it works fine.

    Good work! :)

  4. This is pretty slick, posting this from the iPad right now
and it’s pretty enjoyable to use. Cant wait to see more gesture
support or what you guys have planned for the popovers in the
future! Keep up the great work this has to be one of my favorite
WordPress plugins and the moment I get my portfolio site up as
WordPress I’m buying a license for pro!

Child themes?! Since when was that feature available? Is it only for the paid version?

We’ve talked abut Child Themes support for 2.1 for a little while now, since the beta for 2.1 was released. Yes, it’s only in WPtouch Pro at the moment.

Great new features. I’m currently updating but it took
already 5 minutes and still not finished. Normal? Thanks.

No- you should try the update again, but you’ll likely have to FTP to the upgrade dir inside wp-content and remove the unfinished update.

Hi there, I’ve got a problem here.

I don’t know if the problem came from my settings so I need to ask. I enabled iPad support for the site on WP Touch Pro 2.1, the home seems fine, but nothing displayed when viewing posts/pages, only the header/background shows up. Is there anything wrong with my plugin? Or is there anything I should do to make it work?

BTW, when clicking on ‘Blog’ and ‘Menu’ button on the iPad view, if you don’t close the previously clicked one, two lists will show at the same time, while ‘Blog’ is covered by ‘Menu’. Hope this is not my fault and will be fixed soon.

    Thx

Hi, I’m sorry that I’m not the person who bought WP Touch Pro. I’m just one of the site admins. So if posting in the support forum is the only way, I’ll ask the purchaser to get the post done ASAP.

On the other hand, I also wish to have the problem solved as quickly as possible. So is there an alternative solution? #Update 1: I checked sites made by users who commented on this post, found that their site is at good condition. One guess: is it because our site uses Chinese as primary language? The title, header, menus are displayed in the same way, only without content.

        Thank you.

Yes, please post in the forums and our support team will be happy to help you out there in a timely manner. We ask people to use the forums so we can associate all requests with actual WPtouch Pro user accounts and also have a system in place where we can make sure people’s issues get tracked properly. Thanks.

Keep in mind that it is still the weekend, and so you may not see any movement on support until Monday. Just a thought.
