Today we released WPtouch 1.9.9.8, a bug fix and maintenance release targeted at addressing issues related to RSS feeds in the admin panel. For some users the admin panel would either be partially loaded or fail to load entirely. This release also addresses an issue where using website RSS feeds elsewhere in a template or plugins (such as the FeedWordPress plugin) might also be affected.
This is update is recommended for all users.
Changelog
- Fixes admin panel not working or broken for some users
- Changed admin panel RSS feeds to use AJAX
- Added function_exists and object checks to admin RSS
- Changed Tweet RSS Feed to Support Forum Topics
- Fixed minor page menu CSS issue
- Included 40% reduction in PNG sizes thanks to BNCID user 13xforever

Hello, and thanks guys! I use the plug-in but I don’t think it works with my theme. Just wondering, I have seen it befor, – but is there a way to test your wp-plugin from a mac computer? Just to see what it looks like and what not?

From a Mac you can download iPhoney, or change the user agent in Safari to iPhone (enable the develop menu first)

Even though I have set it not to show tags, they are displaying at the bottom of posts. I am running the latest update. Thank you.

It only removes them from being shown on the blog page, not the single post, unless there are no tags.

Hi
Just my test site, but on this page , the option of uploading a document is greyed out and can not be used in WPtouch theme.
This is using “contact form 7″
Looking so much better though.
Thanks
Mark

Uploading files is not supported by the browser, nothing we can do about it.

Gentlemen,
There’s nothing even close to WPtouch. You guys should be proud — wealthy, too.
With 2.0 apparently close, right on the heels of 1.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.2, I wanted to throw in my too sense.
1) Dates. It would be very extraordinarily cool to have the option to not show any dates at all. Zip. For a blog they make total sense, and that’s what WordPress began as. But since WP has evolved into a very capable CMS, the dates can not only be irrelevant, but very confusing and misleading. I’ve eliminated the dates on the full-browser version of the site in question, but unless I change every template and style sheet you release (which I did try to keep up with for a while of insanity), the dates are clearly visible.
In particular, I use the dates to organize the content alphabetically — of course I wish there were an easier way. When I have something to add, I simply date it between the two “posts” I want it to appear between. It’s the old “work-around.”
2) The Apple Touch Icon. It would be very extraordinarily cool (again) to have the option not to use the icon selected in WPtouch for that other use. That one’s not difficult to change on my end, so I’ve been revising your core-header file and specifying the static link instead, so as to point at my png file specifically for that purpose. But it would be very cool if that were an option to specify one particular icon for that use in WPtouch’s settings.
I think I’d be pushing my luck by listing a #3, so I’ll stop here. I hope you’ll consider these suggestions. I thank you for your time and for a great set of plug-ins.
Cheers,
Lar

Hello,
very good plugin. But it’s possible to views the number of views for article in the title.
Thanks.

It may be, but that’s not a WordPress feature, and not an often requested one for WPtouch.

One suggestion from me.
The post thumbnails settings should be the same when you browse categories and tags as they are in the posts.

Very nice theme! Any chance of a version for Buddypress integration also?

BuddyPress and bbPress both figure into our plans, yes.
