Stephen Fry Talks about WPtouch and WordPress
StephenFry.com currently runs the latest beta of BraveNewCode’s free WPtouch plugin, and is probably one of the largest sites using it. A few weeks ago, I contacted Andrew Sampson (who runs most of Stephen Fry’s web empire), and asked if perhaps either Andrew or Stephen would be able to submit a quick quotation, audio clip, or video clip for my presentation for WordCamp Portland — Andrew and Stephen gladly accommodated.
I just finished presenting it all here in Portland, and thought I would share it for all the people who asked to see it again. So, here it is (if you’re on the iPhone, hopefully this video should now work as well).
Once again, a very big thanks to Andrew Sampson and Stephen Fry for being a part of the conference here in Portland, and for talking about WPtouch and WordPress.
I’ll post my slides over the course of the weekend, along with a few links to other resources. Until then, I’ll probably be enjoying a few beers down here in Portland.

Duane,
I missed your mobile session at WordCamp Portland, but saw the Stephen Fry reference on the screen at the conclusion. THE Stephen Fry? Yes, one of my fave actor/writer/comic talents.
Congrats on the testimonial.

Ironic though that this is a post about WPtouch and the video you’ve provided isn’t iPod friendly :P

Great that your site is iPhone friendly. Too bad that the video interview with Stephen Fry is not viewable with the iPhone. #fail

Video is very good on iPhone. Nice and slick interface looks like some hard work has been put into setting it all up. Keep up the good work. Am currently looking to transfer my blog. Is there somewhere I can get info on how to download and set up WPtouch and relevant software. ???

Couldn’t agree more. WP touch is an essential plug in with so much of our web viewing being through iPhone. Only wish the option to switch to regular view was located at the top somewhere in case the user isn’t tech-savvy enough to realise that the site can also be seen in it’s original format, without having to scroll through a bunch of posts to see the button. Small gripe I know. Still love the plugin! Great work.

Some specialists argue that mortgage loans help a lot of people to live the way they want, just because they are able to feel free to buy necessary stuff. Furthermore, banks give short term loan for young and old people.
