WPtouch 1.9 RC2 Posted: Bug Fixes

We’ve posted a small update for our beta testers which includeds numerous fixes for a variety of issues.

RC2 Includes:

  • Javascript bug in mail button on post page
  • Push notification options not respected in the admin are fixed (when turned off push was still active)
  • Minor code corrections and obsolete settings removed
  • Fixed colorpicker black image bug
  • Moved IP to bottom of comments so that more text shows in an alert
  • Fixed calls to private functions in wptouch.php (line 185), class.prowl.php (line5)

If you’re a beta tester, please provide some feedback. No new features will be added for the 1.9 release (besides Skins being turned on), so keep the feedback to bug reports only if your could.

    Hey, I don’t know where else to ask, so here I go. It’d be great if you add Nokia N810 default User-Agent to list of WPtouch agents. Mine is:

    “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv6l; en-GB; rv:1.9a6pre) Gecko/20080828 Firefox/3.0a1 Tablet browser 0.3.7 RX-34+RX-44+RX-48_DIABLO_5.2008.43-7″

    Perhaps “Tablet browser” won’t catch any false positives?

    These things can go in the feature requests area of our support forums.

    But to respond, is that device touch capable?

    @Dale Mugford: Ah, didn’t notice the support forum, sorry. Yes, Nokia Internet Tablets (770, 800, 810) all have touch screens.

    I tried to change the font size. I saved the settings, but it goes back to regular size.

    Okay. This WPtouch is really nice. However, would it be nice to have a way to embedded google AdSense into it? (i.e. an ad showing after 3rd or 4th in the category view).. just an suggestion.
