Har har! Actually, we wanted the feature ourselves, and so we added it. There's been code changes in every corner of this rather complex plugin, and we'd rather not subject thousands of users unwillingly to beta testing through incremental official releases.

Why introduce a new Push feature so late in the beta schedule? Shouldn't this be a 2.0 feature?

The Colorpicker has one black image. You should also set the height from <code>.colorpicker input</code> to 12px.

@Pete: We'll be improving upon the push features over time, but our focus was on getting rudimentary support enabled and in the 1.9 update.

Sry, I forget it. Can you add the URL to the trackback/comment, for example at the end of the comment?

First of all
great work. But would it be possible that the font size auto increase in landscape modus?
I use an ipod touch and it's quite difficult to read the blog entrys. At least one would expext that in landscape mode the font size would be bigger.

Thanks Mercator- we were trying to get the rudimentary aspects working with push, and we'll most certainly polish and add to it over time.

Hello,

Nice work! Push works really well. Two comments:
- There seems to be no verification if an email address is valid, ie it is not checked if the string entered contains at least a "@"
- I run more than one WP site. It would be great if the Message started with the name of the site the message is coming from instead of "WPtouch...".
- If I could choose, I would have liked to disable displaying the user's IP in the Prowl message and add some more of the actual message instead.

Again, great work - THANKS A LOT!

Regards,
Mercator

@<a href="#comment-4669" rel="nofollow">Dale Mugford</a>: Ah, I see. I was thinking it would be helpful for displaying a simplified interface for non-touch browsers on older phones.

It's not a bug- when Ajax is used to post a comment, that number won't be updated to reflect the addition until a refresh. The number is calculated in php on page load. It's always been like that.

I can't wait for the final, good job!

A little bug: If I post a comment the popup with 'comment added' cames but the number of the comments is the same as before but the new comment is included in the list.
