WordTwit 2.1.2 Released: Admin Overhaul

When we released WordTwit 2.1.1 yesterday we forgot that we were in the middle of an admin overhaul, and released it with a couple bug fixes and Owl.ly support, but without the complete admin changeover.

We were changing the admin’s appearance to more closely match that of WPtouch 1.9′s, and so this morning I got up and completed that for those of you that updated and found a couple things awry.

So if you haven’t updated yet you’ll be fine to upgrade now, and if you’re running 2.1.1 we strongly recommend you upgrade to 2.1.2 for a fully working admin panel.

Could you update the readme.txt to WP 2.8?

  2. hi, I installed your WordTwit plugin and it did post to twitter however it also posted the language tags, could you include a filter in the plugin so it won’t do that?

    here is how it looked

You could filter out anything between the HTML comment tags.

  3. LOL, the comment form hid the html comment code!

When I re-edit an existing post, the title of the post gets sent out a second time by twitter. This is undesirable. Is there/could there be an option that re-edits of an existing posts do not trigger a new tweet?

  5. New version 2.2 any problem! Please check WP new version. Thanks

  6. Dynamically convert all local content links into short URLs –> error code WP, pls check, thanks
