The update is recommended for all users. Please visit the WPtouch homepage for install and setup instructions, or visit the Support Forums for tips, tricks, and support from fellow WPtouch users and BraveNewCode staff.

Below is the complete changelog for 1.8.8 1.8.9 1.8.9.1:

  • Fixed mkdir issue on PHP4 installations
  • Set viewport to fixed width for device to prevent some sites from loading wide

  1. I love this plugin, it is elegantly executed!

One small request… I upload my own custom icon, but because these images are stored on the WPtouch plugin directory, when I do an in place updated of the plugin, I lose my icons. Shouldn’t they be stored elsewhere to avoid this?

Alan, are you using the latest version?

A few updates back we introduced custom icon management to the wp-content directory, right through the WPtouch admin.

    Great plugin.
Is it possible to use WPtouch to create new posts as well?
The Wordpress standard post interface is very slow and not practical when used on the iPhone.
    Thx

  4. With regards Advertising Options, what do I enter in Google AdSense Channel# area? Is it a number or an alphabetic name?

With regards Stats Tracking, if I want to add google analytics, do I simply enter the entire javascript code in the text box?

    Thanks.
